A screening appointment allows you have prelimary measurements completed and your questions answered to determine if you are a candidate for laser vision correcton. When you first arrive, you will be given literature about LASIK and some paperwork to fill out. The paperwork provides us valuable information about your health and your expectations. After watching a short DVD in the viewing areas, Dr. Khokhar's assistants will take you into the screening areas where measurements of the size and shape of your eyes are taken. This will allow Dr. Khokhar to determine what type of treatment would be best and what type of results to expect. You will meet with the laser vision coordinator as well as with Dr. Khokhar himself. Options will be presented to you in a straightforward and honest manner. All your questions will be answered so that you may select an option that works for you and helps you achieve your goals. The laser vision coordinator will then set up a time convenient for you to come in for a detailed preoperative appointment.
